Kathy Gook was born and raised in Northern British Columbia and moved to Phoenix in 1985 to
pursue a career in golf. She began playing golf at the age of 23, after a successful college and
semi-pro career in Basketball.
After playing golf professionally for 4 years on the European, Asian and Mini-Tours within the United States, Kathy found her passion in Teaching Golf. A member of the LPGA T&CP since 1992, Kathy has achieved her Class A status and has taught extensively throughout the United States and Canada to many Golfers, and has been a National Educator for the LPGA T&CP (Teaching the Teachers).

In 2002, 2003, 2004 & 2005 Golf For Women magazine listed Kathy as one of the Top 50 Female Teachers in the Country.
In 2004, 2005, 2006 & 2007 Golf Magazine listed Kathy as one of the Top 15 Instructors in Arizona.
At the 2005 LPGA show in Orlando Fl, Kathy presented at an Education workshop "Emotional Management for Golf, Career, and Life".
In 2006 Golf Range Magazine listed Kathy as one of the Top 50 U.S. Golf Instructors in Amerca.
The LPGA listed Kathy as one of the Top 50 Best Teachers, as voted by her peers for the 2008/2009 season,
In 2010 Golf Digest magazine listed Kathy as one of America's 50 Best Women Teachers, presenting an inaugural ranking of female golf instructors as voted by their peers.
